We
offer you a truly memorable experience at our unique Georgian Silk Mill
on the River Test where silk has been woven since 1830. Whether your wedding
reception is for a small party or for 120 guests our co-ordinator will guide
you through the process of planning your perfect day. You will have exclusive
use of the idyllic site.We offer the use of our grounds for a marquee of 30' x 60' which can accommodate a maximum of 120 guests there is space for a catering tent. The superb gift shop in the grounds will be available throughout the celebration for its facilities.
Typically guests are received on Frog Island to the rear of the Mill which because of its tranquil location is a wonderful setting for photographs. Guests will then will proceed to the marquee for the wedding breakfast where evening functions usually follow.
Whitchurch Silk Mill is centrally located and easily accessible from the
A34, M4, M3 and A303. It is only 60 miles from most major towns and cities
in the south eastA free car park is adajcent to the Mill and there is a further one nearby.
The charge for the site is £1,000 plus VAT. Our preferred marquee company will provide you with a detailed quotation and our recommended caterer offers excellant catering.
