Design and Technology - Textiles
We offer a number of textile related practical activities that are linked
to Design and Technology in the National Curriculum. The following activities
could be included in your visit:
Designing and producing

- A Mexican eye (wool weaving around crossed sticks)
- A place mat (weaving paper or recycled card in a variety of
weave patterns)

- A friendship bracelet (a weaving technique which does not required
a loom)

suited to small groups of older/secondary children)
